No, Fujino don't use code but write the name for the character, when Saikey made the translation they rewritten the names by a code that referance a data pawn.

I don't think there will be different outcomes of the trial itself. It's more likely that we can choose different paths during the quest, which could lead to different scenes. Some could involve Asuna x Inoda, Kirito x Liz, or even Inoda x Liz. Jeez, theoretically, even the council could get involved, since the Admin said the trial was created for her. There might even be some Sinon scenes, or Suguha, if that's what Sinon asked her to help with. It could literally include all of this if Fujino wanted to.
